The client has a beautiful wall which had become quite damaged through time. They needed it to be re-pointed and in places rebuilt, but wanted to use a traditional lime mortar to be true to the original materials used when first built
The job
We arrived on site and started to dismantle the loose and damages areas, we then cleaned the whole wall with a pressure washer. Re-pointing a wall of this size and with specialist materials, such as lime mortar, can be quite a fiddly and time-consuming job but was really worth the effort to restore it back to its former glory.
